Sabre Appoints Scott W. Smith as General Manager for Sabre Business Travel Solutions

FORT WORTH, Texas, Nov. 23 - Sabre (NYSE: TSG), today announced the appointment of Scott W. Smith as vice president and general manager of Sabre Business Travel Solutions.

In his new role, Smith will be responsible for overall strategic direction and operations of the Sabre corporate travel management suite of products, Sabre BTS(TM). Smith's responsibilities also include management of product development plans and budgets, direct and distributor sales programs, and development of new distribution and licensing opportunities.

"As Sabre BTS moves into new areas such as supply chain management and ERP integration, we are extremely pleased to have someone with Scott's experience and knowledge in corporate travel management at the helm," said Nancy Raynor, senior vice president of emerging businesses for Sabre.

Smith, who reports to Raynor, has been with Sabre since 1982, serving in a variety of management and sales positions, including managing director of national accounts for Sabre, managing director of International market planning and Western Division sales manager. Most recently, Smith was vice president of sales and marketing for Sabre BTS. Smith has a master's of business administration degree from Southern Methodist University.
