Energizer Holdings, Inc. became an independent, publicly held company in 2000 and is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol ENR. Energizer is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of primary batteries and flashlights and is a global leader in the dynamic business of providing portable power. In 2003, Energizer acquired the worldwide Schick-Wilkinson Sword (SWS) business, the second largest manufacturer of wet shave products in the world.

Schick® Quattro®, the world’s first four-bladed razor, and Schick® Intuition®, the first all-in-one shaver, were launched in the United States in 2003 and subsequently in select international markets. Other key SWS brands include Xtreme 3®, triple-blade system and men’s and women’s disposable, Silk Effects® Plus, women’s shaving system and Schick® ST® twin blade disposable razor, and internationally marketed ProtectorTM and Lady ProtectorTM. SWS employs 4,000 colleagues and markets products in more than 80 countries around the world.
