SILVER SPRING, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 23, 2005--Stay one night, get two EA$Y CHOICE stamps. Sounds good. Fill up your EA$Y CHOICE stamp card, redeem the card for a credit toward a future stay*, and you could be entered to win $10,000**. Sounds even better.

Beginning September 1, Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE:CHH) is not only offering double EA$Y CHOICE stamps for stays at Rodeway Inn and Econo Lodge brand hotels, it's also offering a chance to win $10,000. The promotion concludes November 30.

There will also be a new "voice" to the radio component of the fall campaign. Phylicia Rashad, best known for her role as Clair Huxtable on the 1980's hit, The Cosby Show, will lend her voice to the radio advertisements, which will air starting in September. More recently, Rashad earned a Tony Award for her portrayal in last year's A Raisin in the Sun on Broadway.

In addition to using Rashad's voice for the radio spots, Choice will feature her voice on its web sites (choicehotels.com and choicehotelsfranchise.com) via streaming audio and in an on-hold message promoting the EA$Y CHOICE program at its call center, resulting in a more integrated approach to its use of celebrity talent. The radio advertisements will be heard on ABC, Premiere, Westwood, Dial Communications Global Media, and Media America radio networks starting September 1. The web messages will be posted the week of September 5, and the on-hold message started running on August 12. Print and online advertisements in consumer and travel trade publications will also outline the promotion to travelers and will also start running the week of September 1.

EA$Y CHOICE stamps, available at more than 900 Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn brand hotels throughout the U.S., are redeemable for room credits at any Econo Lodge or Rodeway Inn brand hotel in the U.S. During this promotion, two stamps may be earned for each qualifying night's stay. Guests may earn a maximum of ten stamps per stay -- enough to qualify for a free night's lodging ($50) at most locations. Six stamps may be redeemed for $25 off a future stay, and three stamps may be redeemed for $10 off a future stay.

When EA$Y CHOICE members redeem a card, they could be entered into the $10,000 sweepstakes.
